Today was my first time braiding here. I was on a crunch because my original braider called me at the last minute to cancel my apt, so I was desperate to find someone else to do my hair because today was the only day I can do my hair this week. I started calling around and right when I called them, they said they could do my hair and even do it once I was off work at 2 pm. The price they quoted was WAY less than what my original braider was charging so already I was feeling good about them. Seeing the five stars on Yelp made me feel even better.

I showed up a little after two and two women greeted me and told me to sit down. The owner as I come to find out is an Igbo woman, so I share that in common with her. It made me feel even more comfortable knowing the language they were speaking as well.

The lady that did my hair was very quick. The owner helped with burning the ends and they finished within 4 hours which is pretty impressive as I did a bob style, and many other braiders said it wasn't really a style they could do when I called around. I definitely, definitely will come back here to get my hair braided in the future! Thank you ladies!!

For my style I received waist length knotless boho/goddess braids with Favor and I am absolutely in love with them. Perfect size and length. I will definitely be returning. THE BEST braiders in Boston. I don't know what it is with this generation of new braiders but i simply can't afford to pay $500 every time i want to get my hair done. The lovely, talented women at Eddyb charge a fair price and do excellent, clean work. I had three women working on my small butt-length braids and boy was it amazing to watch. All the women at the salon are hard-working and helped me make sure I got exactly what i wanted. I had to get my hair braided for vacation/work in Hawai'i where there's absolutely NO place for black women to get their hair done so i needed a style with longevity. I wore these braids from May until the end of August 😳! I will absolutely be making this shop my regular shop while I'm living in Boston. Thank you again!
